How CPC One Helps the 9/11 Community
CPC One brings health, social, and education services together in one place, making it easier for families to get the help they need. Through its Community Health Services program, visitors can access:
- Walk-in support for health and social needs
- Language assistance for non-English speakers
- Referrals to trusted providers for medical, mental health, and legal services

For many, CPC One is the first stop for long-term care and benefits after 9/11 exposure. Connecting families to resources under one roof helps them focus on their health instead of paperwork.

What Makes Pitta & Baione Different
Many law firms handle only Victims Compensation Fund (VCF) claims, but Pitta & Baione goes further. Our team helps clients:
- Enroll in the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP), which provides free monitoring and treatment for certified 9/11-related conditions
- Organize medical records and proof of exposure for both WTCHP and VCF claims
- Coordinate with clinics and providers to establish a medical record tied to 9/11 exposure
By handling both health care and compensation paperwork, as well as benefits consultation pre-claim services, we make it easier for clients to get the support they need without juggling multiple agencies.
Linking Care and Benefits
Joining the WTCHP is often the first step. Members receive an initial evaluation and ongoing care through a Clinical Center of Excellence or the Nationwide Provider Network if they live outside the New York area. Having a documented medical record is important for both treatment and any future VCF claims.
The Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) offers financial awards for eligible physical illnesses linked to 9/11 exposure. You don’t need to be sick to register; enrolling now preserves your right to file later.
