We Fight Here.
We work and live in the same neighborhoods as our clients and understand their struggles like only a neighbor can. Our firm headquarters are located in the heart of Lower Manhattan, and our staff and clients are a representation of the culture melting pot we are proud to call home. We prioritize our ability to service clients in the language they feel most comfortable communicating in, including Mandarin, Cantonese, Taishanese, Spanish and Italian. We aren’t lawyers for the 9/11 community—we’re 9/11 community lawyers.
our promise
The events of September 11th are permanently etched on our city’s skyline, our nation’s history, and the lives of countless Americans who still live with the health consequences of that tragic day. Our law firm doesn’t have cases, it has clients, and we do whatever it takes to help them. Whether it’s pursuing fair compensation and health resources for a 9/11 injury claim or taking our fight to the U.S. Capitol to ensure our legislators continue supporting 9/11 survivors, we promise to never forget.
When we take on your case, it becomes our own. When we give you our word, we keep it.
Meaning Behind the logo
The Twin Towers are a central element of our logo because they symbolize the foundation of our law firm’s mission. Pitta & Baione LLP was founded to serve the victims, families, and communities affected by the September 11th attacks. No matter where we go or how we grow, our commitment to 9/11 victims will always remain at the core of our identity and at the center of our purpose.
“The image of the Twin Towers also serves as a daily reminder of the fragility of life, as well as the unity, strength, and resilience that emerged in the aftermath of that tragic day—values that guide our advocacy and legal practice. We proudly carry this legacy forward in every case we handle and in every client we serve.”
“I’ll always remember coming out of the Battery Tunnel as a kid and looking up at the Twin Towers. Every time, I got chills. They weren’t just buildings. They stood for something bigger. They inspired me to work hard in school and to dream that maybe one day I could work in them, like my father’s friend who I admired so much. Jimmy was one of the many who lost their lives on 9/11, and I carry that with me every day.
One of my clearest memories is being in the South Tower, standing in the indoor observatory with my father, pressing my forehead to the glass, looking out for miles over New York City and imagining all the possibilities. To me, the Towers still represent the heart of this city. They remind us of what we’ve been through and what we continue to fight for. That’s why they’re at the center of our firm’s logo. It’s our way of honoring the people we’ve lost and staying true to the purpose behind everything we do.”
Our logo is more than a symbol. It’s a tribute to the strength, sacrifice, and resilience of the 9/11 community.
We chose to memorialize 9/11 in a peaceful way because we believe in facing tragedy with compassion and purpose. Rather than turning away, we carry it with us in everything we do. The Twin Towers at the center are surrounded by a globe to reflect that 9/11’s impact reached far beyond New York. It affected people across the country and around the world, including visitors to New York, and continues to shape lives even today. This emblem stands for our deep commitment to those forever changed and our promise to fight for the justice and recognition they deserve.

A Voice for 9/11 Survivors and Their Families
Our work doesn’t end after we help a 9/11 survivor recover compensation. We do whatever it takes to help improve our clients’ lives for the better, regardless of whether or not it pertains to the specific claim at hand. Whether that means helping to enroll them in the WTC health program or changing laws to ensure the 9/11 community is protected now and well into the future, we’ll do it. We know how to cut through red tape and lobby Congress to get our clients help, and our success reflects that.
